Virtual payment cards save Cracker Barrel thousands in annual costs
The travel program team for Cracker Barrel, a U.S. restaurant and gift store chain with over 73,000 employees at 650 locations, is responsible for reconciling all travelers’ hotel charges each month. Previously manual and paper-intensive processes caused issues and delays for the travel team and the accounting and finance departments. Cracker Barrel needed a solution that would improve the reconciliation processes and restore balance in their travel program. Flight into the future: KLM gives go-ahead for Electric Flying Connection Tour
At the end of August, KLM invited a number of people to take part in trial flying lessons in an electric aircrafts. KLM has joined forces with Electric Flying Connection (EFC) and the E-Flight Academy. Instructors from the E-Flight Academy operated 18 training flights from Lelystad Airport to Schiphol-Oost and back.

Spain’s leading travel group Ávoris Corporación Empresarial and BCD Travel have expanded their strategic partnership to Portugal. Travel agency Barceló Viagens, part of the Ávoris group, is one of Portugal’s leading travel companies. As BCD’s exclusive official representative in Portugal and member of its Global Network, they will now operate as BCD Travel Portugal, making BCD the leading corporate travel company in the Iberian Peninsula.
