Qatar Airways is continuing to expand the global network

Qatar Airways continues to grow its network, entering new partnerships and creating offers that add value to clients’ travel.

In 2023, the expansion continued with seven new destinations, including Chattogram, Juba, Kinshasa, Lyon, Medan, Toulouse, and Trabzon.

The airline resumed flights to several destinations and increased the frequency across multiple destinations.

Qatar Airways also announced the resumption of daily flights to Birmingham, United Kingdom, Auckland, New Zealand, and Tokyo (Haneda), Japan, with the award-winning Qsuite on Tokyo routes. The expanded network promises optimal connectivity around the globe.

Recent updates:

  • The launch of a new direct service to Lyon, with four weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
  • Increased flights to China, connecting passengers to Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Chengdu, Chongqing and Beijing.
  • Increased frequency to New York (JFK) from two to three daily flights. This will provide new connections between New York and more than 80 destinations in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and South East Asia. The new flights will conveniently arrive early morning and depart late evening from New York (JFK).
