BCD staff join worldwide A21 Walk For Freedom

The A21 Walk For Freedom took place across the world on Saturday, Oct. 14. The annual event raises awareness and funds to end human trafficking. This year, BCD Travel staffers across the regions were among the tens of thousands of participants. The walk took place in over 425 communities in more than 56 countries and reached nearly 800 million people through media. Here’s what some of our people had to say about their experience.

Women leaders and legends: WINiT Top 50 recognizes Alexandria Prejean and Teri Miller

The GBTA Foundation, the charitable arm of the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), recently announced their 2023 WINiT Top 50 lists for outstanding women professionals in travel. BCD’s Alexandria “Ali” Prejean Smith, Director, Marketing & Communications, was named a WINiT Rising Female Leader. Teri Miller, Executive Vice President, was recognized in the FollowHER Legends and Mentors category.

Reducing plastic use in hotels

The BTN Group established the Business Travel Sustainability Awards to encourage progress in all sectors of the travel industry toward a more sustainable future.
