Thrive UK: Coffee and a safe space for youth

One of the standout initiatives that contributed to our recognition is our work with Thrive UK. Operating as a coffee shop and safe space for young people, Thrive provides an environment where support workers and the youth they care for can meet, build relationships and access job research support.

Hiring Our Heroes: Bridging the gap for veterans

Our partnership with Hiring Our Heroes focuses on providing career opportunities to the military community.. Selected fellows participate in a fully funded 12-week fellowship. The fellowship includes on-the-job training with BCD and is augmented with weekly educational sessions hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. The fellows are fully immersed in education and training experiences in various departments, including Business Analytics, Global CDS Operations, Information Security, People and Culture, and Talent Acquisition. We recognize the valuable skills and experiences that transitioning service members, veterans, military spouses, and military caregivers bring to the workforce and are committed to helping them transition into successful civilian careers or, in the case of spouses, sustain meaningful employment.
