In March 2021, we published Getting back to business travel: Digital Health Passes. In this report, we outlined the concept of the digital health pass and explained some of the rationale behind its development. And we detailed the multiple companies that had plans to launch their own solutions.
Since then, some have made more progress than others, but widespread introduction and adoption have yet to occur. Nearly two years since the first cases were detected, COVID-19 remains a highly disruptive threat to travel that demands a solution to help travelers navigate the complexities created by the pandemic.
