The program integrates multiple layers of protection, including mandatory face masks, temperature checks and back-to-front boarding.
Pre-trip
Prior to a trip, business travelers can visit the COVID-19 Update Center on Korean Air’s website to find the latest flight information as well as entry restrictions by countries. To minimize contact, passengers can check in online or via the Korean Air mobile application. Travelers may also request a CARE FIRST KIT at the check-in counter upon request.
The airline’s in-airport lounges are disinfected multiple times daily and social distance signage remains in place.
On board
All Korean Air aircraft are thoroughly disinfected with a cleaner known to eliminate COVID-19. HEPA filters help reduce airborne viruses and bacteria in the cabin. Korean Air cabin crews work in masks, gloves, goggles and protective gowns, and inflight services have been modified to minimize interaction between customers and crew members. Stricter hygiene standards for in-flight catering are in place, and disposable products are provided for inflight meals.
