Business Travel News named BCD Travel President and Chief Executive Officer John Snyder one of the 25 Most Influential Executives in the business travel industry at a BTN event in New York City on Dec. 2. This is the second time Snyder has appeared on the list.

“My inclusion among BTN’s 25 Most Influential Executives reflects the efforts of our 13,800 employees across the globe who are driven to make BCD the world’s most trusted and innovative travel management company,” Snyder said.

“We continue investing in our people and technology to improve service and bring evolutionary solutions to the corporate travel industry,” he said. BCD reinvests over 40% of earnings back into the company, most of which goes to enhancing and expanding its digital platforms.

Central to Snyder’s recognition was SolutionSource®, BCD’s travel technology marketplace, created to make innovation simpler for travel managers and sourcing executives. SolutionSource provides vetted third-party solutions that easily integrate with travel programs. BTN also noted BCD’s recent acquisition of Adelman Travel Group, one of the largest full-service travel management companies in North America.

The annual Most Influential list, which does not rank honorees, recognizes industry leaders behind the year’s biggest innovations, acquisitions and other newsmaking events. BTN has published the compilation for over three decades. BCD Travel founder John Fentener van Vlissingen also has appeared on the list twice—most recently in 2018.
