EVA AIR, Taiwan’s leading privately owned international carrier and member of Star Alliance, will offer a regular service between Taipei and the Italian city starting Feb. 18, 2020. Milano is the second largest city in the country behind Rome and it´s known for their strong present in the finance and fashion industry.
EVA AIR will operate four flights per week on the route between Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport and Milano Malpensa MXP. Just with one stop in Taipei, business and leisure travelers can connect onward to every major city in Asia, including 16 destinations in China.
Milan is the carrier fifth destination that flies to Europe adding to its existing gateways Amsterdam, London Heathrow, Paris and Vienna. Moreover, Milan will become EVA Air’s third direct route in Europe, including Paris and Vienna, which will offer a nonstop flight to Taipei. Through an interline network, passengers from Germany having more convenient options connecting from/to Frankfurt, Munich, Dusseldorf, Stuttgart, Hannover, Hamburg or Berlin.
The new route using EVA AIRs Boeing 777-300ER configured for 353 passengers with 39 in Royal Laurel Class, 56 in Premium Economy and 258 in Economy Class.
The Business Class seats are laid out in a 1-2-1 configuration providing direct aisle access to all passengers in the cabin and are able to recline to a fully flat two-metre-long bed, providing such as Turn down Service and Rimowa Amenity Kit for the best travel experience.
The ergonomically engineered chairs and “Mood Light” lighting system will ensure more relaxation in the Premium Economy Class. The seats are laid out in a 2-4-2 configuration with 97 cm legroom, passengers enjoy 35kg free baggage allowance.
