As the managing director of BCD Travel Australia, Tass oversees all commercial, financial and operational functions. Tass sets the company’s strategic direction to fulfill our mission of powering customer success by making the most of travel investment, keeping traveller’s safe and enhancing the traveller experience. He’s instrumental in shaping, strengthening and growing the company in Australia.
Tass has over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and operations at a senior executive management level throughout Asia Pacific and the Middle East regions. He’s developed and implemented effective transformation, business development and go-to-market strategies for organisations within global travel services, corporate card financial services and information technology. Tass also holds qualifications in marketing management and international business. He is a board director of CT Partners, Kudos Knowledge Limited, Semantic Intelligence Group Pty Ltd and ex-board member of the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA).
Director of Finance
As director of Finance, Richard is responsible for ensuring financial performance and profitable growth through operational finance, accounting and financial planning. He partners with the senior leadership team to provide strategic financial guidance to ensure BCD Travel Australia delivers quality service to our clients.
Richard, a certified public accountant (CPA), has over 18 years of experience working with large companies in Australia and the United Kingdom. He has extensive experience in management accounting, financial planning and analysis, as well as commercial decision support.
Senior Director of Operations
As senior director of Operations, Denise heads our national operations team and oversees day-to-day travel operations. She ensures the delivery and achievement of key operational and financial requirements. She drives process and solution changes to improve productivity and service delivery and position the organization for future growth.
Denise has more than 20 years working in air and travel. She brings a unique combination of operational and people management experience to her new role. Her previous roles focused on change management, process improvement and project management for United Airlines and a large TMC.
Director of Technology & Client Solutions
As director of Technology & Client Solutions, Sridhar is responsible for formulating and implementing the technology and automation services strategy. He works collaboratively with key stakeholders across various functions to drive customer experience and technology processes for BCD Travel Australia.
Since joining BCD Travel as manager, Performance Solutions, Sridhar has led vital technology projects and contributed significantly to initiatives that have streamlined processes across Operations and Finance to greatly enhance performance delivery. Prior to BCD Travel, Sridhar spent 18 years within the financial services industry, where he held various executive and senior management roles focused in operations and servicing, sales, and technologies and products.
Director of Sales
As director of Sales, Simon oversees strategic growth and business development for BCD Travel Australia. Simon previously served as our director of Account Management. In that role, he was responsible for client retention, quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
Simon is a seasoned travel professional with over 15 years travel industry experience working in Sales, Account Management and Operations. This, along with the strong customer service focus gained from his degree from The Hotel School – InterContinental Hotel Sydney, helps him ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Director of Account Management
As director of Account Management (AM), Matt oversees the Australian AM team and delivery of our brand promise to our clients. That promise? Ensuring BCD Travel and clients alike, are at the forefront of the corporate travel industry – by taking the modern, ever-present streams of ‘information’ and ‘trends’ and distilling them into real and relevant understanding for each client. Whether your company is driven by quality service, improving the traveller experience, deployment of technology solutions or delivering great ROI, we help our clients achieve their objectives, not ours.
Matt has worked in the travel industry for 20 years, spanning various leadership roles in account management, technology, supply, product marketing and management. He holds a degree in psychology, majoring in organizational psychology and is constantly energized by the opportunities presented in the travel industry. He still enjoys actually getting on a plane and has an enthusiastic disdain for unnecessarily complicated corporate ‘speak’, buzzwords and waffle language.
Director of Supplier Relations
As director of Supplier Relations, Kay will lead our preferred supplier strategy in Australia to support our financial objectives. She’ll also engage with our internal stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of supplier services to our customers.
Kay has extensive experience in the travel industry, having worked in management positions at airlines, TMCs and on the customer side of travel procurement. Kay joined us from Sydney’s iconic Bridge Climb, where she was responsible for growing the corporate market.
Director of Human Resources
As director of Human Resources for Australia, Maya will develop, implement and drive solutions that integrate HR strategies with our business goals. She’ll guide key organizational and strategic HR initiatives in partnership with senior leadership. In addition, she’ll oversee key functions including payroll and recruiting.
An experienced HR practitioner, Maya brings 15 years of professional experience to her new role. She joined us from Fiserv Solutions, where she worked for four years as senior HR business partner.
