BCD Pay’s Virtual Payment Automation (VPA) allows travelers to book hotels with a virtual card, making it simple for employees, contractors or any guest to travel. VPA also makes the reconciliation process easier. All charges on a virtual card account are automatically matched to bookings, saving finance, travel managers and travelers’ time and resources.
You’ll also see an increase in the security of payments as VPA generates a new unique card number for each transaction. Additionally, strong control features make virtual cards an ideal defense against payment fraud.

How it works
- Travel is booked and central payment is selected
- A virtual card is automatically generated from your bank to guarantee the booking
- Booking details are sent by secure email, API or fax to the hotel
- Traveler checks out and approved charges are billed to the virtual card. Traveler pays for any miscellaneous charges
- Hotel invoices are collected, checked and corrected with options to forward data to tax reclaim providers, financial systems, etc.
- Enriched data is automatically matched and merged to provide rich and detailed reporting
