Air Disruption Compensation benefits expand to Brazil and U.K.

Starting Sept. 22, travelers who experience flight disruptions in Brazil and the United Kingdom may seek Air Disruption Compensation for the event.

Together with our partner, AirHelp, BCD Travel is expanding benefits to include travel to/from/within Brazil and the U.K. under their local regulations and laws. Affected travelers will receive an email from TripSource® that explains their rights and includes a link to a claim submission form from AirHelp. AirHelp will review the claim and let the traveler know if they qualify for compensation and what to do next.

AirHelp, the world’s largest passenger rights advocate, powers BCD Travel’s air disruption compensation offering. AirHelp simplifies compensation claims for air passengers who experience flight delays, flight cancellations, denied boarding, baggage problems, or missed connections. It is available with no activation and is automatically turned on for all clients. The compensation already applies to travelers on flights departing from a European Union state or arriving in one on an EU carrier. Participating states include the 28 EU countries and Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Kosovo, Norway, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Switzerland.
