The app provides different functionalities which make car rental even more comfortable which are selection of a specific car within the booked car group; creating and modifying reservations and extending rental agreements. The app features a self-verification process of the driver´s licence which will be valid for six month. This will allow customers to rent their car at the self service kiosks at a growing number of locations.

What is Avis Quick Pass?
For all non-Avis Preferred customers, Avis offers Quick Pass as a speed-of-service solution. After the traveler’s email address is entered into the reservation, the customer will receive an email from Avis with the request to complete the reservation with missing information such as driver´s license number, date of birth or invoicing address. After completing this, Avis can prepare the rental documents in advance so the customer can skip the line and rent a car from a dedicated Quick Pass counter.
