FlyNet® on board – Rethinking air travel.
Passengers can now access around 45 renowned German- and English-language magazines free of charge and without limit via the FlyNet® Wi-Fi portal and read their favorite titles on their own electronic device. This new service is also available on long-haul flights, which are equipped with the new Allegris cabin and offer a new in-flight entertainment system in all travel classes. For the first time, Lufthansa passengers in all classes can also read digital magazines on the seat monitor.
As usual, passengers can also download a certain number of eJournals before their flight and until the end of their journey, depending on their travel class and Miles & More status. They can choose from around 1,600 titles in 40 languages.
Another new feature on board European flights is the offer of podcasts. The FlyNet® portal provides a wide range of articles from various genres, such as business, travel, science and entertainment, in German and English, free of charge.
