With Sabre joining as the latest connected aggregator, a total of 23 aggregators now provide access to Air France and KLM NDC content – broadening global reach and enabling access to richer content across travel partners.
NDC adoption has seen steady growth, with over 1.1 million NDC coupons issued each month. This reflects a growing shift toward dynamic, modern distribution channels across both business and leisure travel segments. With more and more OTAs connecting to NDC globally, 88% of tickets are now issued through this channel.
To deliver even more value, several new feature enhancements were introduced in 2025. For example, paid seat options booked via NDC now benefit from discounts of up to 50%, giving greater choice at more attractive rates.
In addition, Air France-KLM and Airbus launched a dedicated SAF fare agreement, enabling Airbus employees to book special NDC fares that include a voluntary contribution to SAF. Available directly through their booking tool, these SAF bundles allow Airbus to reduce the environmental impact of their trips. SAF stands for ‘Sustainable Aviation Fuel’, the name the industry uses to describe an alternative for fossil-based kerosene.
To meet the needs of more specialized travel segments, the first seaman fares were successfully booked via the Travelport aggregator – extending NDC’s functionality to the marine sector.
With these developments, NDC continues to evolve as a modern distribution solution -offering rich content, greater flexibility, and growing access to innovative features that enhance the booking experience.
