Sergio Blandino
As Managing Director, Sergio has the overall responsibility for Costa Rica and Panama operations, including the Multinational Service Center (MSC). The MSC services many countries in a complex landscape due to a wide variety of legal requirements, currencies and cultures. Under Sergio’s leadership, BCD Travel has seen significant growth in the region, servicing new clients in Costa Rica, launching operations in Panama City and expanding the company’s footprint in Latin America to meet rising business travel demand.
With over 15 years of experience in business travel and a degree in Industrial Engineering, Sergio brings a strong background in general management, customer support operations, logistics, process design, project management and Free Trade Zone operations. He’s passionate about fostering a business environment that empowers people to thrive and achieve excellence.
He lives in Heredia, Costa Rica with his wife and two rescued dogs, while his twin sons are currently studying in Germany. Outside of work, Sergio enjoys spending time in nature and with his family.
