Jack Alexander worked as a real estate executive for BCD Group founder John Fentener van Vlissingen before the pair purchased a travel company that ultimately led to the start of BCD Travel. “John walked into a meeting one day and said, ‘I want to enter the service industry,’” Alexander recalls of their 1986 discussion.
