Based on a recent BCD Travel survey, the majority of Travel Managers are re-negotiating existing agreements and issuing new requirements to preferred suppliers.

1.  Travel buyers are increasingly incorporating cleanliness requirements and flexible cancellation policies into supplier negotiations. 

2. Hotel health and safety certification, digital services and the requirement to use preferred suppliers are among the most popular hotel policy changes.

3. Half of respondents plan to negotiate fewer preferred properties and lower volume per hotel.
