Business travelers and people working in the corporate travel industry are uniquely positioned to help the estimated 40 million people around the world trapped in modern day slavery. Traffickers often use air travel to transport victims and use hotels as venues to abuse them.
Find out what you can do to stop this exploitation by watching Passport to Freedom, a video from BCD Travel and Sabre that explains how to recognize and help put an end to modern day slavery.
Then on Feb. 22, show your support for victims by participating in the End It Movement via social media. Draw red Xs on your hands and share the photos on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, tagged with #enditmovement and @ECPATUSA.
BCD recently launched a partnership with End Child Prostitution and Trafficking (ECPAT), an international organization that works to raise awareness, advocate for victims and push for policy and legislative changes to protect them. BCD also participates in The Code, a multi-member initiative of the travel industry that aims to end the sexual exploitation of children.
