Pitney Bowes improves duty of care with DecisionSource

Business intelligence tool from BCD Travel helps company find travelers in need.

Duty of care is such a hot topic at Pitney Bowes that the U.S. technology company created a tagline for traveler communications: “If we can’t find you, we can’t help you.”

At quarterly traveler forums, Pitney Bowes leaders explain to employees why it’s so critical that they update their travel profiles, particularly with emergency and mobile contact information.

The company feeds those updated profiles into BCD Travel’s DecisionSource® Security tool, which provides a powerful solution for locating, communicating with and protecting travelers in times of crisis—or whenever they’re in need on the road.

Pitney Bowes says the functionality of DecisionSource Security also has improved alignment between its travel and security departments—both of which have access to the tool.
