Singapore Airlines’ Premium Economy Class

A great new way to fly on selected flights.

Singapore Airlines passengers departing from Amsterdam and travelling through the gateways Frankfurt, London and Munich can experience ‘a great new way to fly’ with the introduction of Premium Economy Class on selected flights. It is expected that from the end of March 2016, Premium Economy Class will be launched on direct flights between Amsterdam and Singapore. From Singapore, this travel class is available on flights to Hong Kong and Sydney.

In Premium Economy Class, each seat has a pitch of 96.5 cm and reclines 20 cm for more ease and comfort. Together with active noise-cancelling headphones and a sleek 34 cm full HD monitor which is the largest in its class, passengers look forward to an enhanced in-flight entertainment experience.

Other features include a full leather finishing, calf-rest and foot-bar for every seat, individual in-seat power supply, two USB ports, personal in-seat reading light, cocktail table, and more stowage space for personal items.

Passengers in Premium Economy Class can choose from a more extensive range of food and beverage offerings. Besides being able to select from a standard menu with three meal choices, passengers may also select from the Premium Economy ‘Book the Cook’ service featuring popular dishes. Champagne will be offered, in addition to a selection of curated wines, throughout the flight.

To ensure a seamless experience that begins on the ground, priority check-in and baggage handling will be offered to passengers travelling in Premium Economy Class. Passengers will also enjoy a baggage allowance of 35kg. KrisFlyer members will receive 10% more miles when they fly in Premium Economy Class.
