During the 20th edition of the ‘TM Travel Awards’, BCD Travel was declared best ‘Business Travel Agency 2017’. The award was given Friday by Travel Magazine during a gala evening in the Hilton Hotel Antwerp.
Travel Magazine is one of the most important media outlets for the travel industry in Belgium and Luxembourg. The magazine has organized the ‘TM Travel Awards’ in Belgium for twenty years, where the performances are rewarded by companies and professionals active in the travel sector.
BCD Travel was nominated in the category ‘Business Travel Agency 2017’, and took the grand prize back home. The judges were particularly impressed by the ground-breaking way how BCD Travel deals with traveler engagement. There was a special mention for the trip management platform TripSource®, in which many innovating functions were added.
“Those who want to keep business travelers productive, safe and within the travel policy, must involve them. By providing relevant information to business travelers, the right decision can be made on the way. Already half a million travelers are using our TripSource-app and we are very pleased about this recognition by Travel Magazine”, says Jean-François De Mol from BCD Travel.
In October, BCD Travel was elected Most Admired Travel Management Company for the fifth time by readers from The Beat. Also, the management program for recruiting and retaining top talent attracted a lot of prizes this fall: Christian Dahl, Senior Vice President Strategic Talent Management & Global Human Resources at BCD Travel, received the golden award for Human Resources Executive of the Year during the 2017 Stevie® Awards. In the meantime, Investors in People, an international agency that assesses employers, rewarded BCD Travel with the silver accreditation in people management.
