This year LOT is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Last year LOT made aviation history as the first European airline to fly the high-tech Boeing 787 Dreamliner. This aircraft has allowed LOT to improve its operating costs and product offering for long-haul routes.
Next year, LOT expects to take delivery of two more Dreamliners. LOT also has newer aircraft for European routes, making the average age of its fleet just over four years old—one of the youngest in Europe.
The LOT Dreamliner has improved its onboard product and services with the introduction of the 787 last year. It features:
- Business Class – A large, but intimate cabin with 18 fully lie-flat beds and a 180°recline; 15” video monitors; power and USB ports at each seat and restaurant style meal service by their highly trained, specially selected Elite Fleet Crew
- Premium Economy – A new class of service for LOT. It includes a separate cabin with dedicated crew and 21 comfortable seats that recline 132º; 38” seat pitch; individual power, USB and video monitors.
- Economy Class – 213 new ergonomic seats with individual seat-back video screens and USB, plus power plug available for every passenger!
LOT flies the Dreamliner from three North American gateways; Chicago, New York JFK and Toronto, nonstop to Warsaw with easy connections to over 40 destinations across Europe and the Middle East. Plus connections from cities across the U.S. and Canada with Air Canada, United and US Airways.
