An article on industry news site The Beat gives a travel manager’s perspective on how BCD Travel’s TripSource Enterprise products will boost traveler engagement and influence. The article, excerpted from a panel discussion at The Beat Live conference in October, quotes BAE Systems Director of Travel Services Dana Rixter on the benefits she’s expecting from TripSource Enterprise.
“I’m really looking forward to our agency BCD Travel’s TripSource Enterprise app, which is going to blow everybody’s mind. I plan to use that to message my travelers in real time during their trip, at the point of sale to affect savings, and then also for their satisfaction to remind them that there’s a gym nearby or whatever,” Rixter says.
BCD Travel’s Enterprise Messaging product, scheduled for launch in 2015, will give corporate travel managers a way to reach their travelers during trips with relevant tips and information. Through the TripSource app, companies provide policy-specific information; keep their travelers informed of changes to their trip; and send messages to influence purchasing decisions. Other Enterprise features in development include managed hotel and air bookings; aggregation of third-party itineraries; and agent chat capabilities.
