Readers of travel business newsletter The Beat have chosen BCD Travel as 2013’s Most Admired Travel Management Company.
The Beat’s Readers’ Choice Awards were based on a poll conducted this summer that asked readers to pick a company they “most admire for its policies, management style and service for business clients” in each of six supplier segments—airline, hotel, car rental, technology, payment systems and travel management.
Corporate travel buyers, travel suppliers, consultants, analysts, journalists and others in the business travel sector make up most of The Beat’s readership. Votes from respondents who chose their own employers were disqualified.
Rose Stratford, executive vice president for Global Supplier Relations and Strategic Sourcing for BCD Travel, accepted the Most Admired TMC award on Oct. 1 at The Beat Live conference in Miami.
