BCD lands awards for risk management, customer satisfaction and global intranet

BCD Travel’s awards list is getting longer. We’re humbled and honored to share that we’ve recently been recognized in multiple ways for the work we do to help clients travel smart and achieve more.

Evacuation Award presented by Lockheed Martin

After BCD evacuated 164 of their employees from Iraq after rocket attacks, Lockheed Martin presented us with their Evacuation Award for helping them move their people out of the way of potential harm quickly and professionally. Lockheed Martin Corporation’s Director, Global Security & Crisis Management Operations, said, “We can’t thank you enough for all you did to accomplish this accelerated and complex departure. It was evident from the times and frequency of your emails, that you did not get much sleep these last few days. Our employees are indebted to you and your team for the professional and expeditious job you carried out.”

BCD achieves Gold for BAE Systems Partner2Win program

BCD Travel achieved Gold medal status for the 2021 BAE Systems Partner2Win program for outstanding customer satisfaction and service. BAE Systems recognized us for our strong commitment to excellence and providing business travelers with reliable, professional support. 

The 2022 Step Two Intranet and Digital Workplace Silver Award

Managed by BCD’s internal Strategic Communications team, our global intranet, MySource, won the 2022 Step Two Intranet and Digital Workplace Silver Award. Australia-based Step Two is a vendor-neutral technology firm that helps organizations design, establish, and sustain modern digital workplaces, intranets, and digital employee experiences.

Here’s what the judges said: “They’ve ticked all the boxes when it comes to intranet management! A strong, example of optimizing the Microsoft toolset. A strong focus on end users.”

Takeda’s Zeidlhack named 2022 Best Practitioner by BTN Group

Faye Zeidlhack, Global Travel Manager for BCD client Takeda, was named 2022 Best Practitioner by BTN Group. Zeidlhack is recognized for partnering with BCD’s Life Sciences Center of Excellence and Centricity powered by BCD to pilot and shape our patient travel offering. Her work helps ensure Takeda patients receive the compassionate and considerate concierge travel support so important to supporting their experience.
