BCD Travel announced plans to transform their existing TripSource® Profile Manager tool into a digital-first system that combines traveler identity management, traveler consent management and traveler profile management. Built on the industry-leading SAP Customer Data Cloud, the system brings information that was previously housed in multiple platforms together into one place.

After evaluating several traveler identity management technologies, BCD found SAP’s Customer Data Cloud strategy to be directly in line with BCD’s core tenets of simple, digital, adaptive and global, Karmis said. “Any decisions we make regarding our technology investments are assessed against this framework,” he said. “The SAP Customer Data Cloud solution checked all four of these boxes, making it the right decision.”
The SAP Customer Data Cloud is part of the SAP C/4HANA suite which includes CRM and other Customer Experience solutions.
