BCD and ACTE seek students to travel the world; apply until March 13

Program provides paid training to fourth-year undergrads and grad students interested in business travel careers.

This program has been suspended for 2020.

The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) and BCD Travel are accepting applicants for a one-of-a-kind traineeship beginning this summer. Open to graduating seniors and graduate students interested in pursuing careers in business travel, ACTE’s Around the World 2020 is accepting applications through March 13.

A multi-city global tour and paid training

2019 Management Associates

The first part of the program includes a five-week-long global journey starting in New York City and continuing to Atlanta, São Paulo, Bangalore and Amsterdam. At each destination, participants meet and work with business travel industry professionals to learn about the business travel industry from every perspective, including booking, operations, program management, marketing and more. Following their world travels, participants undertake six-month paid stints in BCD Travel’s Management Associate Program (MAP).

Who should apply: Currently enrolled fourth year undergraduates who will have completed all coursework by June 12, 2020; recent college graduates; or graduate students currently enrolled at accredited universities.

What’s included: Air travel between program destinations, hotel accommodations, ground transportation to/from airports, hotels and meetings, medical insurance, scheduled meetings during standard business hours; a six-month paid traineeship with the opportunity for full-time employment upon successful completion of the program.

An award-winning experience

Launched in 2012, the ACTE/BCD collaboration has graduated 24 students. It was recognized as a top trainee recruitment program at the 2017 European Excellence Awards in Berlin.
