July 25 webinar: The impact of strong customer authentication (SCA) on corporate travel

SCA promises to improve remote payment security, but it also will bring challenges for companies and their travelers.

A July 25 webinar from business travel consultancy Advito will explore new payment security rules taking effect in September. The new laws will change payment processes for flights, hotels and amenities for travelers going anywhere in Europe.

Called Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), the rules are part of the broader European Payment Services Directive (PDS2) that requires additional security steps for consumers to identify themselves to their banks before being able to complete payments. SCA begins Sept. 14.

Advito Vice President and Principal Lesley O’Bryan will lead the 60-minute webinar about what SCA means for the corporate travel industry.
