Wear the red X to help end human trafficking

Wear the red X on Feb. 25 to support ECPAT-USE and END IT movement in spreading awareness about modern slavery.

Kathy Jackson, Vice President, Executive Chair Sustainability at BCD Travel USA

Today, 40.3 million humans are trapped in slavery, serving as sexual slaves and manual laborers in every country around the globe. Every dollar of profit in the sex trafficking industry costs someone their freedom. BCD Travel is raising awareness of #HumanTrafficking among travelers and is spreading knowledge on how to fight it.

Traffickers often use air travel to transport victims and use hotels as venues to abuse them. Women and children are most vulnerable. Business travelers and corporate travel industry professionals can help end this human rights crisis by joining ECPAT-USA (End Child Prostitution and Trafficking) and END IT Movement on a global mission to spread awareness about human trafficking, create change and free people.

BCD Travel joined the END It Movement in 2019. In 2018, BCD partnered with ECPAT (End Child Prostitution and Trafficking), the leading international organization seeking to raise awareness, advocate for victims, and push for policy and legislative changes to protect them. BCD also participates in The Code, a multi-member initiative of the travel industry that is also working to end the sexual exploitation of children.
