Did you know?

  1. Climate change is occurring at an alarming rate and has many broad-reaching impacts on human health, the economy, and the stability of the natural environment. Increased emissions of greenhouse gases that trap heat and block it from escaping the atmosphere drive significant global disruption to climate systems as we know them. Low-income, indigenous, and communities of color are already bearing the brunt of climate change and are disproportionately on the front lines of environmental disasters.
  2. BCD Travel is the first global travel management company to join the Science Based Target Initiative, an international cohort working to increase corporate participation on climate action in line with the Paris Agreement. BCD supports science-based targets aimed at reducing greenhouse gases and has set a goal to significantly reduce its own CO2 emissions by 2030.
  3. More than 1 billion people in 192 countries now participate in Earth Day activities each year, making it the largest civic observance in the world. Be a part of Earth Day and help further climate action across the globe.
