Video: Getting HR involved with travel

How travel programs can help companies meet talent management goals.

BCD Travel innovation expert Miriam Moscovici has noticed an uptick in human resources departments getting involved in corporate travel programs.

HR is showing up to get involved in decisions about travel because it helps them meet company goals for employee wellness, recruitment and more, Moscovici explains in an interview broadcast from the 2018 Global Business Travel Association Conference in San Diego.

“When a candidate has a choice between your company or a competitor with a better, more comfortable travel policy that pays more attention to traveler happiness, they’re going to choose that other company,” says Moscovici. Martin Cowen, editorial director for industry news outlet Tnooz, and Al Merchen, partner at Myriad/MMGY Global, joined her during the broadcast.
