HEPA filters
Using state-of-the-art, hospital-grade, high-efficiency (HEPA) filters on all United aircraft to circulate air and remove up to 99.7% of airborne particles.
Electrostatic sprayers
As well as disinfecting all United aircraft with electrostatic sprayers, United is layering their approach to safety by adding antimicrobial coating onboard.
Face coverings
Face coverings are required for all crew and customers when flying with United. For those who don’t have a mask, they will provide one prior to boarding.

A leader among U.S. airlines:
United has launched the world’s first free transatlantic COVID-19 testing pilot program. From November 16 through December 11, the airline will offer rapid tests to every passenger over 2 years old and crew members on board select flights from EWR to LHR, free of charge.
This month, United will fly from eight European airports (London Heathrow, Paris Charles De Gaulle, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Munich International Airport and Dublin, Brussels, Frankfurt and Zurich Airports) to EWR/IAD/SFO/ORD/IAH/DEN, with onwards connections to various destinations across the U.S.
