Former Sabre, GetThere and Travelocity Business executive Yannis Karmis has joined BCD Travel in the newly created role of senior vice president, Product Planning & Development.
Karmis will set BCD’s vision for its new product roadmap, including business intelligence, traveler-facing and travel and expense management categories. His oversight includes the TripSource and DecisionSource Intelligence & Analytics suites.
He reports to Russell Howell, BCD executive vice president for Technology, Products & Innovation. “Yannis brings a proven track record in new product development and business operations,” Howell said. “Throughout his career, he’s worked extensively with customers and commercial teams in all parts of the world.”
