DecisionSource upgrade speeds up access to insights

Quick-launch capabilities simplify how travel managers access data insights from BCD Travel’s intelligence and analytics platform.

BCD Travel’s DecisionSource® has been redesigned to make it simpler and faster for corporate travel managers to get the data they care about most. The intelligence and analytics platform’s new interface, unveiled July 22, allows you to:

  • Use quick-launch capabilities as soon as you log in
  • View and manage scheduled reports from the homepage
  • Navigate more easily through DecisionSource features and functionality

“We’ve always provided the cleanest, highest quality data in the industry. Now we’re upgrading the user experience to match,” said Yannis Karmis, senior vice president of Product Planning & Development at BCD.

This is the latest in a series of evolutionary steps for DecisionSource. Late last year, BCD announced Emergency Response, a duty of care tool powered by the platform. The one-touch crisis response system allows travelers to click a TripSource® mobile prompt signaling “I’m safe” when they’re in an area affected by a crisis. Emergency Response improves traveler safety and allows travel managers to identify and focus on travelers who may need help in an emergency.

In addition, the data that’s the lifeblood of DecisionSource intelligence and analytics is constantly improving. BCD’s data is ISO-certified to be among the highest quality in the industry. The certification covers bookings and reservations, as well as program data BCD collects from third parties. BCD’s proprietary quality control processes yield industry-leading data that generates reliable reporting.
