Many passengers have already discovered the ease and convenience of changing planes in Canada. No queuing, no baggage claim and no changing terminals – Air Canada passengers simply go to the next departure gate. U.S. immigration is handled while still in Canada in specially designed transit zones, bypassing the queue after landing in the United States. Baggage is automatically forwarded to the connecting flight without having to be picked up.
