Pharmaceutical company Grünenthal chose BCD Travel as its global managed travel provider, after working with BCD successfully in Germany for 10 years.
In a two-part Q&A, Victor Scarante, head of global indirect procurement at Grünenthal Group, explains why the company decided to consolidate its business travel program worldwide and how BCD is helping the company achieve cross-national travel and expense standardization, hotel and airline optimization and more.
The company is launching BCD’s TripSource® booking and trip management platform to travelers across Europe. “We’ve used the app in Germany, France and the U.K. and have had good experiences with this application for hotel bookings,” Scarante said. “An important advantage is that it is compatible with SAP Concur. That really gives us an end-to-end solution.”
