BCD Travel to offer pioneering solutions at GBTA Conference in Berlin

Utrecht, November 6, 2014 – BCD Travel will present new products and services for corporate customers at the Global Business Travel Association Conference (GBTA) in Berlin. Among them, Business Intelligence and Analytics for smart data solutions, Traveler Engagement to motivate travelers to make good buying decisions with, Dynamic Hotel Program Management to optimize corporate hotel programs and more tools for policy enforcement.

“And as a conference partner, we actively invest in the event, so travel managers and buyers get the most out of their time in Berlin, away from their desks,” said Ilona De March, BCD Travel’s president EMEA. “We want to share our knowledge but also hear what’s new and hot.”

Business Intelligence & Analytics: Collecting data is not difficult. However, structuring data, sorting it by relevance and analyzing it to make the right recommendations and decisions requires more skill and something few companies specialize in. BCD Travel’s DecisionSource collects data from various sources in order to find out where travelers are going, what they spend and why. Companies can then adjust the right screws, better negotiate with service providers and detect hidden travel costs.

Traveler Engagement: Companies should rely more on their travelers and less on the company-issued travel policy to control costs. In fact, business travelers can become the messengers and the enforcers of travel policies – that’s BCD Travel’s vision. Business travelers want to travel smart and achieve more. To accomplish this, they need the right information at the right time to make better buying decisions. BCD Travel shows you how. And the newly released TripSource App can help bring that strategy to life by helping travelers keep cool, calm and connected.

Dynamic Hotel Program Management: With yield management, hotels are transforming data into profit, but companies can as well turn the tables. With in-depth analytics, rate availability monitoring in real-time and benchmark of rates against consumer channels they can act on emerging business changes and strengthen negotiations.

BCD Travel’s “It takes vision“ will impart know-how and solutions both at Booth 4/5 in the exhibition hall and in the following lectures:
