BCD Travel again named ‘Most Admired TMC’ by The Beat readers

UTRECHT, The Netherlands, Sept. 19, 2019  – BCD Travel today received the corporate travel industry’s coveted designation as 2019 Most Admired Travel Management Company. The designation was bestowed by readers of The Beat, a widely-read business travel newsletter and website that provides breaking news, in-depth articles and high-level interviews on corporate travel distribution, travel management and technology. It is the sixth time in seven years that BCD has been named best TMC by The Beat’s readers.

The Beat identified Most Admired companies in six categories: technology companies, travel management companies, airlines, payment companies, lodging brands, car rental brands and supplier of the year. Winners were determined based on a reader-poll conducted in June and July. Subscribers were asked to choose the most admired suppliers for their policies, management style and service for business clients. Participants were not allowed to vote for their own employers.

“Being named Most Admired TMC by The Beat’s readers is as meaningful today as it was the first time we received this recognition in 2009. More than just about any other award in our industry, this recognition comes from our colleagues, peers and clients,” said John Snyder, BCD Travel President and CEO. “To have won this recognition so frequently in the last decade is a true badge of honor for our entire global workforce. It demonstrates BCD’s commitment to innovation, partnership and excellence in customer service.”

Serving over 10,000 readers through its paid-subscription newsletter and website, The Beat is published by The BTN Group, which also publishes Business Travel News and Travel Procurement magazine and is part of Northstar Travel Group. The Beat readers include travel executives from corporations, TMCs, airlines, hotels, global distribution systems, technology providers, car rental firms, payment systems, consultants, financial analysts and media.

The ‘Most Admired TMC’ designation adds to BCD’s other recent accolades, including being named to Forbes’ 2019 list of America’s Best Midsize Employers and America’s Top Employers for Women, The Flexjobs’ Top 100 Remote Companies, 2019 Business Travel Award for Best Corporate Social Responsibility and Ecovadis “Gold” ranking for corporate social responsibility program.
