Although this is mainly driven by cost reduction, it ironically also represents a large cost risk at the same time. In case of cancellation of the trip, the ticket is often completely lost as reimbursements and schedule changes are not permitted. BCD Travel Cancellation Insurance makes your inflexible ticket flexible again!

New is the coverage for natural disasters. Fortunately, it doesn’t happen often, but we all remember the tsunami in Thailand or the outburst of the Iceland volcano, with huge consequences for the business traveller.

Compensations of BCD Travel cancellation Insurance with assistance natural disaster:

• Cancellation of the trip: reimbursement up to 2.500€/person per ticket.
• The assistance natural disaster guarantees are twofold:
  • Extended residence abroad: if you cannot continue your trip, or if you cannot return back to your country of residence.
  • Costs: for extended overnight stays, breakfast, transport to/from the airport or railway station until 150€/day for the first insurant, 50€/day for every additional insurant, this for a maximum of 5 days/covered event.
